Three dead in Papatoetoe

Dahlia Neville, 6, Hunter Neville, 9, and Edward Courtenay James Neville, 40, were found dead at a Cambridge Tce property. Police are investigating the incident on behalf of the Coroner.

Police found three people dead at a South Auckland home last week. The victims were two children, Dahlia Neville, 6, and Hunter Neville, 9, and their father, Edward Courtenay James Neville, 40.

Detective Inspector Karen Bright said the investigation is ongoing and it will take time to get answers for the family. Police do not believe there is any risk to the wider public.

The scene examination at the property was completed and handed back to the family on Saturday. Police said the community has provided an outpouring of support for the family.

Neighbours and others have gathered to remember the father and his two young children. The police investigation is continuing.
