A helicopter crash in Zimbabwe has killed six people, including businessman Wicknell Chivayo and his wife Lucy Muteke. The crash occurred on Wednesday evening in the Marondera rural area, about 70km east of Harare.

Kenya President William Ruto has mourned the death of Chivayo, describing him as a friend who touched the lives of many. Ruto said he was deeply saddened by the tragic passing of Chivayo and his wife.
The Zimbabwe government has confirmed the incident, with Permanent Secretary Nick Mangwana stating that no survivors were found. The Zimbabwe Republic Police will release the names of the victims in due course.
