A serious road traffic collision occurred on the N13 at Correnagh, near Letterkenny, Co Donegal, on Wednesday evening. The crash involved a car and a motorcycle, and happened shortly after 5pm.

Diversions are in place, and motorists are advised to take alternative routes where possible. HGVs and large vehicles travelling to Letterkenny from the Stranorlar direction are advised to travel via Convoy or Lifford, and avoid the N13.
So far in 2026, 143 people have lost their lives on Irish roads, including 22 motorcyclists. Gardaí are investigating the cause of the crash, and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
