Patek Philippe has introduced seven limited editions at the Watch Art Grand Exhibition Milan 2026, with the new 5978P-010 instantaneous perpetual calendar chronograph being the most notable. This new model combines a hand-wound calibre CH 29-535 PS QI with an instantaneous perpetual calendar module.
The Watch Art Grand Exhibition Milan 2026 is the seventh edition of the event, which takes place from October 2 to 18 at the Palazzo delle Scintille in Milan. The exhibition covers nearly 2,900 square meters and features 15 themed spaces, offering a behind-the-scenes look at Patek Philippe's collections, heritage, and craftsmanship.
Thierry Stern, Patek Philippe's president, emphasized the importance of preserving traditional decorative arts, such as enamelwork, engraving, and guilloché. He noted that the manufacture can produce only around 14 dome clocks a year, highlighting the specialized techniques involved.
