The Youth Fair is designed to give students an opportunity to experience the cultures, traditions, creativity, and people of Micronesia in an engaging setting. This year's theme is 'The Tides and Traditions of Micronesia'.
Students will have opportunities to try traditional activities such as talaya throwing and learn about canoe carving. They will also be able to explore cultural information booths and a gamified experience featuring a punch card and prizes.
Frank Arriola, GVB Acting President & CEO, stated that the Youth Fair is an invitation to schools to bring their students to Ypao and connect with the traditions and stories that are part of the shared region.
