The Governor of the Bank of Central African States (BEAC) and President of the Central African Banking Commission (COBAC), Yvon Sana Bangui, presented a 32-month management review and key initiatives to modernize and integrate the Central African banking and financial system. He addressed a gathering of 400 bankers, microfinance directors, fintechs, and authorities in Bangui on October 3, 2026. The goal is to increase financial inclusion and digitalization in the region.
