Brabus, Fragment Design Launch $50,000 E-Bike
Brabus and Fragment Design have collaborated on a limited edition electric motorcycle, priced at $50,000, with only 10 units available worldwide. The bike features a black and white design with carbon-fiber trim and a translucent LED taillight.

Brabus, a German luxury tuner, has partnered with Fragment Design, a Tokyo-based fashion label, to create a limited edition electric motorcycle. The Urban E Fragment Edition is priced at $50,000 and only 10 units will be available worldwide.
The bike is based on the Brabus x DAB Urban E and features a black and white design with carbon-fiber trim. It has a translucent LED taillight and a white leather seat with Brabus' 'Shell' quilting.
The collaboration between Brabus and Fragment Design began when Hiroshi Fujiwara, the founder of Fragment Design, spotted a Brabus E-Bike on the street in Milan. He was impressed by the design and decided to create his own interpretation of the bike.
The Urban E Fragment Edition has a top speed of 75 mph and a range of 93 miles. It can be charged from a standard 220-volt outlet and takes around 3.5 hours to fully charge.
The bike has a fully adjustable 46-millimeter inverted fork and a custom rear shock, each with 100 millimeters of travel. It also features Brembo brakes and a PIN code start system.
Constantin Buschmann, the CEO of Brabus, said that the company's mission is to create products that elicit a 'one second wow' reaction. He believes that the collaboration with Fragment Design has achieved this goal.
Hiroshi Fujiwara said that he enjoys working with limitations and that collaboration is a way to create something personal. He added that the Urban E Fragment Edition is a design object as much as it is a performance machine.
